The Anode is the second putter from MVP, designed to be a neutral-stable compliment to the overstable Ion putter. The Eclipse Glow Proton Anode is well-suited for putting on warmer days and a firm driving grip any time. Like all MVP discs, the Anode uses a two-piece construction combining a Champion- or Z-like inner plate and a grippy outer rim. The disc is made from a very durable polyurethane ensuring a good, long life.

The flex on this Anode is the firmer of the two types, which MVP previously called "Medium" flex. MVP now only designates the flex on their soft putters, leaving these firm types as simply regular Eclipse Proton.
