Drone Pro-D
The Drone, released in April 2005, is a very over-stable mid-range disc. The Drone is designed for players who need a super-stable approach disc for long shots, or for players who are looking to add a strong hyzer mid to their bag for those important recover shots where going straight at the pin is not an option. This disc is also adept at holding its own in windy conditions, and will handle all the power and snap you put into it without turning over (according to Discraft).
Although the Drone is made with Discraft's Pro-D plastic, it is substantially more "grippy" feeling than many other Pro-D discs. The result is a disc that feels solid in your hand, and grabs the chains better than some of the harder discs in the Pro-D lineup.
